The responsibility of the village police

01) To guard and patrol the union in day and night.

 02) Assist the chairman and union parishad to perform government duty.

 03) To assist police in search and repressing all matters related to crime and arrest criminals.

 04. If there is no other instruction, inform the concerned officer of the respective police station about the situation in the area every fortnight.

 05) In charge of the police station to inform all the issues, which can create conflict, violent agitation and disturb the peace of the people.

 06) To monitor the activities of the people of the bad character of the union and to inform the officer-in-charge of the police station occasionally. To inform the officer officer of the police station about the availability of any suspicious person coming from the surrounding area.

 07) Save the Birth and Death Register and inform the Union Parishad about all births and deaths in the area.

 08. To assist the revenue employees in collection of rent / land development tax, local taxes, fees or other collections.

 09) A person may issue a warrant on the residency and property of a resident of the Union Council.
