Ansar and VDP's responsibility

* A village police patrols and patrols in the union on day and night. * Search and suppress all the matters related to the crime and assist the police in arresting criminals. * The chairman and union councils assist in discharging government duties. * If there is no other direction, inform the officer-in-charge of the concerned thana about every condition of the area within 15 days. * Look at the movement of the people of the unorganized people and occasionally inform the officer-in-charge of the police station. He also informed the officer-in-charge of the police station about the presence of any suspicious person coming from the nearby area. * Any person who is unarmed, who does not have any income to live, does not have any satisfactory answer about his identity, reports the people to the officer-in-charge of the police station. * Informed the police officer about all the issues which can lead to conflict, violation or aggression, and can disturb the peace of the people.
